Getting New & Consistent Mold Remediation Leads in Record Time

More leads are the key to more jobs. However, it isn’t easy to find mold remediation leads—in your case—as your competitors are working day and night in their lead generation strategies while you either slept in or are just starting with this whole process.

First, you need to remember that lead generation is basic science as long as you take the time to learn about it, and no, it doesn’t take years or even months to do so.

Starting with the basics like knowing that a website will be the first step to generate leads or focusing on your social media and how you optimize your online presence can be more than enough.

Just make sure you organize all the information and start implementing everything you learn to a general lead generation plan to come up with the best process.

Here, our job is to provide the best advice, tips, and strategies to help you generate those leads and close more deals.

Thus, I look forward to what we have in store for you since your mold remediation business isn’t ‘out of reach’ when it comes to using the same channels and strategies other companies are implementing for generating leads.

Mold Remediation Leads #2 -

Reviews from Existing Customers

Customer reviews are critical in determining whether you get new clients since people care about your previous customers’ experiences and what they think about your service and the company overall.

However, it’s not easy to ask clients to leave reviews about the company considering most of them will be lazy to do so.

You can set a reward system so your clients will get a discount or a little gift to encourage in exchange for an honest review (don’t push for fake reviews).

This strategy remains at the top because people are becoming more tech-savvy and more inclined to read reviews from customers before deciding on a mold remediation company.

Additionally, this strategy will have a great boost once you implement the rest we have for you.

But going back to reviews, you should ensure that they only see positive reviews, and to do so, your services must be top-notch.

While customer reviews are a great way to generate high-quality leads free of charge, it will take all your effort to get them, and it is a bit natural considering every business should give its best.

While not all customers will respond to your requests or incentives, you can get a high percentage of reviews by just asking and being smart about it.

We recommend you create your own GMB link or website link where people are sent to leave a review without any effort. Just write and submit.

Mold Remediation Leads #3 -

Customer Referrals: A Powerful Lead Generation Tactic

Customer referrals are another effective way to obtain mold remediation leads.

But for it to work—and pretty much any strategy you implement—your sales team should commit to offering your customers high-quality service.

After completing the service, ask your customers to refer you to anyone they think might need your assistance. This works similar to reviews themselves as it relies on how good you are and how satisfied clients are.

Customer referrals, just like customer reviews, are a cost-free way to get more leads without having to spend on many lead generation tools either.

Social Media Advertisement

Social media marketing is one way to find mold remediation leads usually underestimated in this niche. Another common mistake is that it is often considered free advertising.

However, for this strategy to work and reach your target audience, you must be ready to spend a minimum of a few dollars that won’t really hurt your finances, but it does involve an investment.

The reason for its use among companies is that it allows you to target your audience more effectively and with a “filter” that saves you time compared to regular SEO.

The tool is highly effective and generates high volumes of leads. Many online tutorials can help you learn more about social marketing. We would recommend researching it individually as you need to build a lead generation strategy around it alone.

Now, is social media advertising worth it? Remember: the world is becoming more digital day by day, which means you get better results when using the Internet for any of your strategies.

Additionally, social media advertising is also more cost-effective than other marketing methods.

To succeed in it, consider that social media is about interaction overall.

Engage with your fans personally and emotionally by responding to their messages. Doing so will make them feel at ease with your company, which will result in more clients and closed deals.

Mold Remediation Leads #4 -

Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Slower But Necessary

Remember what we mentioned about social media advertisement being a bit faster? It’s true, but SEO is an excellent way to get leads for mold remediation businesses or, more like, the best option you can rely on as everything revolves around it sooner than later.

SEO has changed the way companies create content and use the Internet. Search engine optimization refers to creating and optimizing content for organic search results but also adding certain elements to your digital real estate properties to get the desired results.

Compared to other strategies, you can rely on it as a paid or free option since you can either learn to work around it or hire an expert who can provide the service.

If you doubt that this can be learned, it does take some time, but you can get to know SEO from online guides if you are on a budget.

These guides will indicate how to use SEO to generate more leads but also build your brand and business in other aspects. A solid lead generation strategy for SEO will result in many mold remediation leads, that’s for sure.

Many mold remediation companies recognize the importance of SEO—as they should—and invest heavily to optimize their content. To get the best out of SEO, make sure you keep up with the trends and changes.

Paid search advertising can also be used with SEO, as it continues to dominate search results. It is a great way to boost the strategy and get the most out of your marketing plan.

Mold Remediation Leads #5 -

Paid Search for Lead Generation

Paid search advertising involves bidding on search terms to have your ads appear higher than the organic results, and we’re sure you’re familiar with these since they have the word “AD” right before the actual link or website.

As efficient and cost-effective it is, this form of advertising requires some time and skill.

While you can complete it in a few days, it may take weeks to see the results, and you will be on a budget to boost them.

What you need to spend can be easily adjusted to your budget, but you must be sure about the keywords you’re targeting, and it is worth your money and time.

Hire Reputable Lead Generation Companies

We know you’re probably trying to save as much money as possible, but sometimes it is inevitable just to pay someone to do it—though, our main goal here is to help you do it yourself.

However, when in a hurry or requiring extra assistance, several companies specialize in generating leads for mold remediation professionals.

A lead generation company is a great way to save time, but only if you have the money to pay for the services. You should ensure that the company you choose specializes in your niche or, at least, has experience in ranking other mold remediation companies and generating leads for them.

Ensure that you hire a company with experience in the field. It is easy, and it can be cost-effective to buy mold remediation leads using the services of a lead generation company when choosing the right one.

You can be sure that you will receive regular leads by hiring a company, but keep an eye on how much you’re paying for them in the long run.

You want a company that offers exclusive leads, clearly outlines billing terms, and has a dispute resolution process.

Although it may take users some time to get started with buying mold removal leads, you will usually receive a steady supply of them.

Mold Remediation Leads #6 -

Use Facebook and Google Ads

Going back to ads, social media, and Google again, we want to emphasize how Facebook and Google Ads can help you boost your mold lead generation process more when compared to other platforms and ad versions.
First, using both options will allow you to target your audience more efficiently, and you’ll have the chance to skip the most unqualified leads that make your sales team waste time.
For it, keep in mind—and go back to what we mentioned—you need to use keyword phrases relevant to your clients’ problems for Google and Bing.
Use Facebook ads to speak directly with your customers by creating compelling headlines and call-to-action buttons. You can activate your entire database of leads by texting or emailing. It’s practically free!
For Google Ads, you must decide which type of ad campaign to run to get the most out of your investment.

There are three types to choose from: display, search, and video.

  • Google search ads are text ads that appear when users search Google.
  • Display ads are usually image-based and appear on different parts of the Google Display Network page.
  • YouTube videos have many Google Ads, which are the short or long sponsored ones you either skip or watch when you’re not a Premium user.

In addition, we figured we could share some tips about this strategy in particular as it entails more than just the basics we have mentioned so far:

Mold Remediation Leads #7 -

Fast Conversions

If a customer is looking for mold remediation or inspection services, they likely have a mold problem and are ready to hire your services or similar ones.

This is why you need to be smart about your ads and introduce them to the solution right when they go through it.

CPC (Cheaper)

This advertising method is simple to follow: The more mold inspection clicks you can get with your budget based on the ads you place, the cheaper it is. Also, more clicks mean more quality leads.

Don’t hesitate to use cost per click to get new leads for your mold remediation business if you have some budget.
Google Advertising’s most remarkable feature is that customers only pay for the ads they click. Therefore, you don’t have to waste any money on advertising to people who aren’t interested in what you have to offer but rather focus on those who do.

Mold Remediation Leads #8 -

Learn More About Your Market

Although this is basic for any lead generation strategy and the simple fact of owning a business, you really need to pay attention to this if you want ads to work.

You can gain valuable information by understanding how customers search the Internet.

You can create a content strategy and increase your organic search visibility by seeing the keywords they are searching for the most. Google ads allow you to view the customers using this demographic information:

  • Localization.
  • Use of device.
  • Date and time they were searching.
  • Enter keyword.

Mold Remediation Leads #10 -

Email Marketing Still Works for Your Niche

We know it can sound a bit outdated, but did you know that emails remain at the top when it comes to contacting companies, prospects and just getting your name out there?

Well, this is true, and if you’re wondering why, it is simple: because everyone uses emails.

When utilizing it for your lead generation process and whole marketing plan, the best part is that you can connect with prospects and nurture them to convert into leads later.

Unlike what many believe, the emails you send with email marketing don’t involve promotions and advertising. You can build awareness and trust by just providing information and telling those who sign for them, “I’m here if you need me.”

If this strategy hasn’t worked for you before, it’s probably because you are making these mistakes—or a few of them:

  • You’re being spammy.
  • The emails you send are only advertising your services.
  • You’re not providing value.
  • Sending emails way too often.
  • You’re sending emails to people who didn’t sign up for the newsletters.

The latter is a serious case as we know you will be tempted to buy email lists with hundreds of email addresses. However, people who haven’t signed up for your emails willingly will find them annoying, and this will burn out your website and address as they mark you as spam.

Just take it easy and build a list with your previous efforts by leaving a CTA and form on your website, which is only natural even if you don’t utilize email marketing.

Also, focus on offering value over promoting your services only.

Mold Remediation Leads #9 -

Content Marketing Is Always Key

Suppose you’re wondering why almost every competitor’s website has a blog. In that case, it’s simple: content is king because it helps you with SEO, offering value to your prospects, and connecting with others.

As irrelevant as it seems, you can improve your results by focusing on writing content that offers solutions to specific problems or making the content informative about a topic related to your business and niche.

You can boost your digital efforts when you write good content and focus on its optimization with the right keywords and context.

Thus, give it a try and take your time to be consistent in sharing content, not only blogs but also in other formats.

You Can Use Flyers & Brochures (Yes! They Work)

Flyers and brochures are another type of lead generation tool that is different from the digital options we have approached so far but still effective for your local business.

Brochures are an essential marketing tool that mold restoration companies should not underestimate since they can bring more leads when you know how to distribute them.

Take the time to determine a good location where you can give out your flyers and brochures, or pick a place to hang them and wait for others to see them.

You will get great results as long as your flyers and brochures are attractive and placed in the right areas.

Design experts can help you create a brochure to educate potential clients about your services and convince them to hire you.

Your customers will feel like they are dealing with professionals when you send them informative and educational flyers as well and when they’re not designed to spam your services only without any other kind of information.

Distribute these flyers and brochures to other mold restoration services providers as you can build partnerships or contact them directly for a more professional approach.

You can do the same with other professionals and experts in different niches that are still connected to yours.

Mold Remediation Leads #11 -

Consider Making Donations, But Not Monetary Ones

You can also get free publicity by offering your services as a charity for people who truly need them and are also unable to pay for them.

You can provide your services free of charge to a local charity trying to renovate a hospital, school, or other building.

Your company can gain positive attention thanks to this as you will show how good you are to others but also the result of your services.

Mold Remediation Leads #12 -

Why Many Companies Are Unable to Generate Mold Remediation Lead

If we had to mention one reason right away, definitely the fact they don’t even know what they are doing, but they believe they are.

Marketing and lead generation takes time. After reading this article, you won’t learn them, but you will have a great idea of where to start and how.

What you will have to do now is to acquire more knowledge or improve your current strategy.

Now, besides providing lead generation strategies, we figured it would be a good idea to tell you what you are probably doing wrong, which is why you should take notes of the following factors to improve your lead scoring in the future:

Mold Remediation Leads #13 -

You’re Expecting Immediate Results

Impatience is the number one reason companies fail to get more clients, and this can be the case for you.

Most companies expect immediate results, regardless of marketing themselves or buying mold mitigation leads from a company. But this takes time, and it’s something you ought to remember.

A sales-qualified lead generation company won’t promise you great results in less than a month, and if it does, there’s something fishy about it.

But you won’t get them by yourself either as it isn’t only a matter of how skilled and fast you are but also about how Google sees your progress and how your digital properties start to build relevancy.

It All Falls to Poor Marketing

Inexperience in marketing is another reason companies fail to get more mold remediation leads.

It isn’t because you need to be a genius or there’s no time for you to learn. It’s rather because many people think they are ready after reading an article or two.

They’re quite wrong, and we assure you you want to wait before you start building your plan and executing it.

Mold Remediation Leads #14 -

People Don’t Want to Spend Money

We get some companies are tight when it comes to budget, but others just want to get everything for free.

It’s true you can work in lead generation without spending thousands or hundreds. Some strategies are free, like SEO. However, it will require an investment in the short and long run.

Don’t be stingy and invest at least a dollar or two. As long as you know how to do it and where to do it, you will get the most out of your money.

If you don’t have the resources, you won’t regret asking for some help as this will return ten times your way.

The Local Lead Generation Process for Your Mold Remediation Business

1- local lead generation, how does it work - blog

All right! So, everything is about building properties and generating leads. But how does the process actually take place? Are there other steps I need to know?

The steps I mention below are what students from our local lead generation program follow to generate leads for businesses like yourself. So I’ll help you see what we do. And how if you join our program, you can simply generate leads for your own business (unless you want to start a side hustle and build a laptop lifestyle business).

Essentially, our lead generation can be divided into four steps:

The first is prospecting. You need to take the time to do market research on a niche (industry) and determine how many phone-driven businesses are there.

Keep in mind that this is local research as you need to know how many companies need leads. For example, you may search for “plumbing services Youngstown OH.”

You will find dozens or even hundreds of businesses trying to get themselves in front of the customers by ranking on Map Listings, organic results, and even Ad.

The second step, building. When you find a niche (plumbing, tree services, a software company, real estate…), you will need to start building your digital properties. You don’t need to be an expert in HTML or coding. It can be easy with the right tools.

The third step is now taking time to rank your lead gen website. With the site done, you need to work on SEO strategies and start dominating those Google search results. If you’re new to SEO, it stands for Search Engine Optimization.

To keep it simple, it consists of the entire process of growing a company’s visibility on search engines like Google and generating organic traffic. And remember this, local lead generation is part of the strategies.

Moving on to step four, once you rank the site, you will start getting your ROI and profits. You only need to rent it out to a local business interested in the leads the site generates. You can offer a couple of free leads to their move on with the actual pay per lead.

To review steps 1-4 above, I described it to a normal student who is building a lead gen business to help local service providers generate more calls. But replace the student with you as the business owner. And replace sending the leads to a business to simply siphoning the leads to your personal business.

By the way, fun fact, about 20% of our students in our local lead gen program are actually business owners who went through the program. And they use the skillsets we teach to generate leads for their own business.

An Example of Lead Generation: Home Advisor

2- check out how home advisor generates leads - blog

You must be thinking, “if lead generation sounds so good so far, how come I haven’t seen any company?” That’s the thing; there are many out there. You just don’t know they are dedicated to it.

HomeAdvisor is one of the best examples you can find on the Internet as it is a top lead generation company that has spent millions building its brand but also earned even more zeros for this same reason.

They started small as everyone else but invested in building their brand awareness to make people who are looking for home services go to their website and find what they need. They are over 75% of people’s first choice when they need those services.

If you don’t get HomeAdvisor that much or need a refresh, users need to submit their information to request a service and get a professional or expert who can provide it.

HomeAdvisor’s job is to share your information, which makes you a lead, with local companies so they can contact you and offer the service you’re requesting. For sharing this lead information, HomeAdvisor gets paid by the companies. This happens for every single lead they send to multiple businesses.

Business owners who don’t have marketing skills or don’t even know how to have any online presence will always rely on those pages to list their services.  They will save time and effort, but companies like HomeAdvisor can make them spend lots of money as leads aren’t exclusive (one lead is sent to multiple companies after all).

Using Facebook Ads aka Paid Ad Platforms: Do They Generate Leads?

3- do paid ad platforms work, like facebook and google ads - blog

They DO generate leads. If not, no one would use them.

However, you need to remember two facts:

  1. Paid ads or platforms can be expensive.
  2. They don’t generate “natural” leads.

Whenever someone sees or clicks in one of those ads, over 80% of them did it by accident or are trying to close/report it.

Why? Because they aren’t looking for those services. At least not at the moment.

What those ads do instead is interrupt their time on the platforms. Users aren’t there to find companies or businesses unless they are searching for a specific company’s user, and for that, there’s a search bar. This is why it is hard to convert them to actual customers who will show interest in the companies’ services. Also, you’re limited by a budget.

When using lead generation, everything is organic. You aren’t forcing others to pay attention to your business but rather being there when they need you. This is why Google’s organic traffic will always beat paid ads, and the reason companies continue investing in it, which is a lot cheaper as well.

What Is Local SEO?

4- learning local seo - blog

Don’t worry… I didn’t get it at first either. Following the short explanation, local SEO focuses on scaling businesses’ visibility on search engines. However, this is only for those who serve their communities face-to-face.

What does this mean?

Experts and professionals like painters, plumbers, and dentists (but not only them) offer their services to their local customers. Why? Because they can’t deliver them unless they are located in the same area of their customers.

To make sure those businesses get more leads, you need to rank them locally by claiming the business listing on Google to place them on Map Listings. Local SEO also involves online reviews, citation management, and how you manage your entire online presence in the local area.

If you are going to bet on lead gen, you need to adapt yourself to today’s world: The Internet.

Keep in mind that although traditional channels and methods like billboards, warm calls, and pamphlets still work, they aren’t part of your tools. Whenever someone needs a service, they go to Google and search for it.

“Dentist in Miami” or “plumbing services in Orlando,” etc. And you can keep coming up with services or professionals people need and look for. Thus, you need to make sure you’re using Google to get the companies in front of their clients.

Users will always click on the first search results (those near the top), and many of them will be either Ad links (people paid to place their websites there), Map Listing, and then you get websites. Almost all of them are your goal and where you should always aim to place yourself.

Can My Mold Remediation Business Utilize a Local Lead Generation Strategy?

5- using local lead gen strategies for any business - blog

If you want customers, you better know you need it. Following the previous explanation, lead gen is all about placing businesses in front of their customers, choosing them over their competitors.

Put it simply – it’s all about closing deals and having clients for those companies to make money. The main difference with the usual methods companies use for this is how lead generation approaches different channels to get them in the right place of the market to get customers.

Those channels are all focused on the Internet as most people are searching for products but also services across the net. The issue is that the Internet is way too broad, and businesses don’t know how to place themselves. They usually try, but they get one common result: losing money and time.

How Powerful Are Organic Mold Remediation Leads from Google?

6- the power behind organic leads - blog

For companies looking for customers, it’s everything. For you? Pretty much the same. When you build a business with digital properties, you get to make thousands of dollars a month.

This isn’t a “get started today and get rich tomorrow” thing, but it is HIGHLY scalable, and ROI + positive results are guaranteed. Learning a fairly decent and very needed set of skills to create your digital properties and start ranking them on Google is required.

I have invested in several online businesses over the years, and if there’s something uncertain, whether you will get your ROI or not, even more than the actual profit.

However, this business moved my earnings from five figures a year to a month in ONLY passive income while sitting comfortably at home.

On my laptop. Anywhere. Anytime.

You can look at one of the first sites I built back in 2016, and it continues making me over $1.000+ every month. The best part is that I don’t need to touch it or the rest I’ve built over the years, just like this digital property.

What Makes Lead Generation SO Alluring?

7- the smartest online business today - blog

Here it goes: you can work from home.

The main issue with regular business opportunities is how much you need to invest in staff, equipment, or rent to have a place to sell your products or offer your services.

We all know the hassles of traditional businesses that involve regular expenses, which are extremely high.  Can you afford it? I don’t think so, and even if you can, is it worth it? Now, it isn’t only about the money. You also need to put in a lot of work, and it isn’t only during the first couple of months or years. Usually, it is as long as you continue running it.

You can save yourself those headaches and bone-breaking tasks and expenses with lead gen since it is more about generating leads with digital channels—mainly websites.

Websites can be VERY cheap to build, and with many tools online, you get to do it in a couple of hours instead of days. Any virtual or digital business is scalable and won’t need constant maintenance.

So, let’s summarize this:

  • You save money in regular expenses with traditional and most online businesses as what you need is yourself and digital properties (websites).
  • You can bet on passive income.
  •  There’s no need to hire more people to get started.
  • You can generate leads in multiple industries, which allows you to work on any niche you want.
