Patients don’t just appear by chance, which means that chiropractor leads take some time to generate for any professional and business in this area. This premise for leads is quite simple to follow. Your patients were first leads before they became patients. They were prospects before they became leads.
These prospects must be aware of your services in order to turn into leads. This is known as lead generation, and it is one of the most difficult aspects of marketing a chiropractor practice.
Due to the number of competitors but also the nature of the niche, it can be tough to generate leads in any area of the USA. However, we have some strategies and solutions for you to stay on top of the game and get your patients from today onwards.
Finding Your Target Audience
Your target audience will differ depending on the services you provide, and as general as chiropractors are with them, you also know there are some specializations. These three steps will help you narrow down your target audience to start to work on strategies.
- Define your niche: Are you offering full services, or are you interested in highlighting specific procedures?
- Get to understand your clients: Clients already know about you as a chiropractor. Asking questions can help you get to know your clients and what they need.
- Look at your competition to find out if they reach a wider audience. Are their strategies effective? Which strategies could you include in your own plan?
Once you have identified your target audience, you can now focus on being easily identifiable and consistent.
Establish Your Brand
It’s worth investing the time in building your brand as it will help with search engine optimization, marketing, and web development, leading to more leads.
These are just a few steps that will help you build a consistent brand.
- Identify your goal. To get people to ask about your services, focus on the unique procedures that you highlight.
- Discover your personality. Do you prefer an exclusive chiropractic business, or do you want to be more specialized?
- Use a unique name to make yourself stand out from the rest.
- Create a slogan to remind people about your services; a slogan is useful in the social media marketing or paid advertising.
- Use color strategically. Consistent colors and fonts will improve the recognition factor.
- Select a logo. Your logo is the image that clients will associate with your brand. Once clients get to know your logo, they will be more comfortable clicking on external links.
It is now possible to use your brand across all of your marketing channels once you have established it. This will make it easier for you to choose the content that you want.
Online Reputation Management
This directly correlates to how many reviews you get on Yelp and Groupon. You can also see this directly on your profile and website.
If you provide a means for clients to leave reviews, positive reviews will outweigh any negative. Don’t be afraid to create content that highlights positive reviews to show how people trust you.
Great customer service is key to generating more qualified sales leads. Your clients will share their experiences with others, and you will get more clients. It will also help your reputation.
Excellent customer service is key to increasing chiropractor leads. This can be achieved from the moment you make an appointment until when patients receive their in-treatment.
What You Need to Make Your Brand Consistent
A key component of generating leads is your brand consistency. You can find a lot of information online.
How can you make your business stand out from the rest?
Consistent branding is a way of breaking through the clutter. This will increase your credibility and help you gain the trust of your customers.
Your brand is your logo, tone, messaging, and color palette. It also includes the content you produce.
If you change your logo, messaging, or services frequently, your audience will not be able to recognize you and your values.
You must keep your brand authentic, trustworthy, professional, consistent, and consistent.
It is important to have a consistent brand across all platforms. You should have the same tone and message across all platforms, including your website, blog, and business listings. You should use the same tone of voice and message on all platforms.
You should keep your digital presence current.
If potential leads visit your website or any social media profiles, they will feel inactive and stale. Keep your information current and relevant to attract the right leads.
Keep Track of Your Conversions
Tracking your conversions is an important part of any lead generation strategy.
It’s thrilling to explore new avenues for lead generation. But you should not overlook what’s already working.
You can track conversions by looking at website bookings or phone appointments.
Conversion tracking is a great way to determine the best areas for your lead generation efforts.
We are sure you’ll fall in the category of people who think that generating qualified leads, or only chiropractor leads, is one of the most difficult tasks. This can be overcome by monitoring conversions and capitalizing on what works.
Consider both your owned and paid strategies when analyzing conversions.
It is possible to see who is clicking on social media, email campaigns, and sponsored content. It is important to evaluate whether these clicks result in appointments being booked. Double your efforts on this platform if you are positive.
Hosting Events for Your Prospects
Consumers are looking for memorable experiences with brands in the digital age.
They want to feel comfortable in the company’s culture and to find out if its values align with theirs. Event marketing and planning are becoming more important for companies.
Hosting events can differentiate your business and provide clients with an unforgettable experience.
If you are unable or unwilling to host an event in person, virtual events can be hosted. These are some of the ways virtual events can be organized:
- Add a day with tips to avoid some pains and improve health for new leads.
- Ask an expert for a live Q&A.
- Happy hour, where colleagues can share their knowledge and experience.
Events can be hosted to allow leads to meet face-to-face, answer their questions and hold them accountable.
Your authenticity, helpfulness, and unique experience will make your business stand out.
Lead generation can be difficult for a business. It can be easier if you realize that you have other businesses you can call when you are having difficulty generating leads.
Strategic partnerships with other companies can help you reach new markets.
If you want to form partnerships, you must have a list that is aligned with your business values and not directly competes with you.
Complementary businesses may be able to work together to refer customers without directly impacting one another’s bottom line—partner with them by sharing content or promotions, as well as discounts.
Look for businesses with similar target audiences as yours and a strong reputation. Do not be tied to businesses that pose a risk to your brand.
Popups And Their Use
Popups are the squares or windows that you don’t like when you visit a website. They can be extremely useful if people are truly interested in the content or the business’s offerings whatsoever.
You may have noticed that not all products are created equal.
Some popups will be visible immediately, while others might take longer. It’s because they have a reason. You must understand the details of each popup to fully appreciate why.
- These are great for collecting emails addresses, promoting discounts, and navigating to areas that you find interesting.
- Exit Popups allow you to collect information about visitors leaving your site and encourage them to use your services.
- Click here popup displays when a visitor clicks on a button or an article. To avoid redirecting users from one page to the next, click popups are best.
- Timed popup displays within a certain time period after visitors arrive. Popups that are timed allow visitors to view the area before they make their pitch.
- Scroll popups allow you to ensure that they have read the entire page before you make your pitch.
Make A Lead Magnet
The modern marketing funnel is where you can quickly get a prospect’s email address and name.
However, most people won’t give that information away. You must offer something in return to get people to sign up for your email list via social media or their website.
In the chiropractic world, that something typically takes two forms: a free examination/adjustment or a free eBook.
If you are just starting your practice, it is a great way of getting some traffic to your door by offering a visit at no cost in exchange for an email address.
However, if you have a well-established practice, these visits may clog your schedule and make it difficult for paying patients to book with you. This is why we recommend it only if you are hungry for more customers.
It can be more time-consuming to create an informational eBook. However, if it is done correctly, it can continue to generate leads for many years.
These are some possible topics for an eBook:
- Guide to living a pain-free lifestyle.
- Here’s how to relieve back pain.
- How to reduce chronic neck pain.
Utilize Facebook Ads
Once you have a lead generation offer, you must promote it to prospects. Facebook ads are one of the most effective ways to do this.
Facebook ads are a great place to start lead generation. Add an image and some text about the offer. Then, choose the text for your call to action (CTA).
After you create the ad and tell Facebook which demographics to target with it, the ad-serving algorithm of Facebook will show the lead generation advertisement to those most likely to sign up.
Facebook is very cost-effective for lead generation. Facebook allows you to test out as many ads as you like, with a minimum of $1 per day.
High-Quality Blog Posts
Without website traffic, you can’t generate leads online. High-quality blog posts are the best way to drive traffic to your site.
There are many ways blog posts can drive traffic to your site.
Results from organic searches
If you write a helpful post that targets a specific keyword, there is a high chance of your article being ranked in the Google search results.
You can convert some of the traffic to your chiropractic practice by having a lead generation program in place. If they are local, the chances are that they will book an appointment.
Social media shares
Sharing content on social media is a great way to generate leads for chiropractic. This is because many people who follow your practice via social media are likely to be in your local area.
They will also be more likely to book appointments than visitors from Google search results.
Use a catchy headline to increase the number of people sharing your post. This is particularly important for Facebook because their algorithm detects when a post receives a lot of engagement and prioritizes that content in the news feeds of your followers.
Start A YouTube Channel
A YouTube channel can be a great way to get leads if you are a video marketer. YouTube videos can be shared on other platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, increasing their impact exponentially.
Here are some videos that people in your local area might enjoy:
- Demonstrations of various types of adjustments.
- Certain types of pain can be treated at home.
- Interviews with staff members and office tours.
Ask Patients to Provide Google Reviews
97% of local business reviews are read by BIA/Kelsey Stat counter shows that Google holds more than 90% global search engine market share.
These two statistics should make it clear that Google’s online reviews service is the most valuable.
Nearly everyone searching for your business uses Google to find it. This means that nearly everyone will see the reviews of your practice on Google.
These reviews are extremely important. 93% of consumers believe online reviews have an impact on their purchasing decisions. Your lead generation efforts will suffer if you have less than stellar Google reviews.
Asking your patients to leave positive reviews is the best way to build a list.
- For customers to leave reviews, create a custom link.
- Create a redirect URL from your website to this link.
- Print out a form asking patients to leave a Google Review. Ask patients to complete the form and add their review link.
Increase Your SEO
Lead generation is possible only if your website ranks high in organic search results. You can’t convert leads if people can’t find your website via Google.
Here are some of the most effective and useful local SEO tips that I can offer:
- Make sure you have set up your Google My Business profile correctly.
- Also, create your Bing Places for Business Account. Bing holds almost 2% market share in search engines, so it’s a good idea.
- Your address and contact information should be listed on your website.
- Create a rich source of useful, unique blog content.
- Your website should be fast. This can be checked by visiting Google PageSpeed Information and entering your website URL.
- Inbound links are available from trusted sources.
- You can get citations (NAP listing – name and address, phone number) from sites that aggregate business information. You can do this using tools such as Yext or Moz Local.
Ask Your Patients for Referrals
Asking current patients for referrals is one of the most painless and easy ways to generate leads.
When it comes to choosing products or services, people trust recommendations from their family and friends more than any other source. You can easily attract high-quality leads by turning your most loyal patients into advocates for the practice.
Asking patients for referrals is the most important step in this process. This is a three-step strategy that you can use to ask for referrals as smoothly and automatically as possible.
- Create a referral request script. This script should be practiced until you are comfortable with it.
- You will need to identify the points where a patient is in their care and ask for a referral. The best times are after the patient’s first treatment when they mention that they are getting better and at the end of their treatment.
- Encourage your staff members to request referrals. Tell your staff to give you their script and when they should use it.
Refer to Other Healthcare Providers
Patients trust their healthcare providers as much as their family and friends. If you are able to establish a rapport with other healthcare providers in the area, you can get leads if they are willing to refer you to their patients.
You can do these things for other practitioners to refer patients to your practice.
- Establish a rapport with these providers. They will refer patients to your provider if they consider you a friend.
- Refer your patients to them. They’ll be grateful and might even refer some of your patients. Be sure to refer patients who are in actual need of your services. Over-referring can cause distrust in both your patients as well as the providers you are referring to.
Optimize Your Website to Generate Leads
It’s a smart idea to place a lead generation form on your site. If you optimize your website to convert as many people as possible, you can make your site a lead generation machine.
These are some tips to optimize lead generation for your website.
- You can add lead generation forms to pages that receive the most traffic.
- With a tool such as a Website Grader, you can gauge the success of your landing pages.
- Personalize the offer text for the page you are offering.
- Make simple CTAs that are distinct from all the other content on your site.
- You can add thank-you pages after you submit forms.
- You can place a chatbot on your website.
- You can A/B-test everything. You can test your landing pages, offer text, CTAs, and any other thing you can think of.
Utilize Email Marketing
You’ll often have people who visit your website but leave without setting up an appointment. It doesn’t necessarily mean that they are a loser if this happens. Sometimes all they need is a reminder.
Email marketing is the answer.
You can use email capture forms to ask users for their email addresses. After they have left, you can send them email ads.
We don’t recommend spamming users as it can quickly lead to a negative reputation. However, a few emails encouraging users to make an appointment will be appreciated.
It is important to avoid buying email subscribers lists and instead focus on building contacts through your website.
Create An Email Referral Program
We want to go beyond email marketing, as we have already mentioned.
Email marketing is one of your most powerful lead nurturing strategies. It is also possible to use it for leads, so it’s possible to execute your strategies well.
Referring people to your business via email is a great way of generating new leads. Invite your current subscribers to invite their friends and families to your business.
These steps will help you launch a successful email campaign:
- Choose a reward that is applicable to both the existing customer and the new subscriber.
- Mention the benefits offered by the referral program.
- Include relevant images and copies in your referral email.
- Set up a tracking system to keep track of referrals.
The Local Lead Generation Process for Your Chiropractor Business
All right! So, everything is about building properties and generating leads. But how does the process actually take place? Are there other steps I need to know?
The steps I mention below are what students from our local lead generation program follow to generate leads for businesses like yourself. So I’ll help you see what we do. And how if you join our program, you can simply generate leads for your own business (unless you want to start a side hustle and build a laptop lifestyle business).
Essentially, our lead generation can be divided into four steps:
The first is prospecting. You need to take the time to do market research on a niche (industry) and determine how many phone-driven businesses are there.
Keep in mind that this is local research as you need to know how many companies need leads. For example, you may search for “plumbing services Youngstown OH.”
You will find dozens or even hundreds of businesses trying to get themselves in front of the customers by ranking on Map Listings, organic results, and even Ad.
The second step, building. When you find a niche (plumbing, tree services, a software company, real estate…), you will need to start building your digital properties. You don’t need to be an expert in HTML or coding. It can be easy with the right tools.
The third step is now taking time to rank your lead gen website. With the site done, you need to work on SEO strategies and start dominating those Google search results. If you’re new to SEO, it stands for Search Engine Optimization.
To keep it simple, it consists of the entire process of growing a company’s visibility on search engines like Google and generating organic traffic. And remember this, local lead generation is part of the strategies.
Moving on to step four, once you rank the site, you will start getting your ROI and profits. You only need to rent it out to a local business interested in the leads the site generates. You can offer a couple of free leads to their move on with the actual pay per lead.
To review steps 1-4 above, I described it to a normal student who is building a lead gen business to help local service providers generate more calls. But replace the student with you as the business owner. And replace sending the leads to a business to simply siphoning the leads to your personal business.
By the way, fun fact, about 20% of our students in our local lead gen program are actually business owners who went through the program. And they use the skillsets we teach to generate leads for their own business.
An Example of Lead Generation: Home Advisor
You must be thinking, “if lead generation sounds so good so far, how come I haven’t seen any company?” That’s the thing; there are many out there. You just don’t know they are dedicated to it.
HomeAdvisor is one of the best examples you can find on the Internet as it is a top lead generation company that has spent millions building its brand but also earned even more zeros for this same reason.
They started small as everyone else but invested in building their brand awareness to make people who are looking for home services go to their website and find what they need. They are over 75% of people’s first choice when they need those services.
If you don’t get HomeAdvisor that much or need a refresh, users need to submit their information to request a service and get a professional or expert who can provide it.
HomeAdvisor’s job is to share your information, which makes you a lead, with local companies so they can contact you and offer the service you’re requesting. For sharing this lead information, HomeAdvisor gets paid by the companies. This happens for every single lead they send to multiple businesses.
Business owners who don’t have marketing skills or don’t even know how to have any online presence will always rely on those pages to list their services. They will save time and effort, but companies like HomeAdvisor can make them spend lots of money as leads aren’t exclusive (one lead is sent to multiple companies after all).
Using Facebook Ads aka Paid Ad Platforms: Do They Generate Leads?
They DO generate leads. If not, no one would use them.
However, you need to remember two facts:
- Paid ads or platforms can be expensive.
- They don’t generate “natural” leads.
Whenever someone sees or clicks in one of those ads, over 80% of them did it by accident or are trying to close/report it.
Why? Because they aren’t looking for those services. At least not at the moment.
What those ads do instead is interrupt their time on the platforms. Users aren’t there to find companies or businesses unless they are searching for a specific company’s user, and for that, there’s a search bar. This is why it is hard to convert them to actual customers who will show interest in the companies’ services. Also, you’re limited by a budget.
When using lead generation, everything is organic. You aren’t forcing others to pay attention to your business but rather being there when they need you. This is why Google’s organic traffic will always beat paid ads, and the reason companies continue investing in it, which is a lot cheaper as well.
What Is Local SEO?
Don’t worry… I didn’t get it at first either. Following the short explanation, local SEO focuses on scaling businesses’ visibility on search engines. However, this is only for those who serve their communities face-to-face.
What does this mean?
Experts and professionals like painters, plumbers, and dentists (but not only them) offer their services to their local customers. Why? Because they can’t deliver them unless they are located in the same area of their customers.
To make sure those businesses get more leads, you need to rank them locally by claiming the business listing on Google to place them on Map Listings. Local SEO also involves online reviews, citation management, and how you manage your entire online presence in the local area.
If you are going to bet on lead gen, you need to adapt yourself to today’s world: The Internet.
Keep in mind that although traditional channels and methods like billboards, warm calls, and pamphlets still work, they aren’t part of your tools. Whenever someone needs a service, they go to Google and search for it.
“Dentist in Miami” or “plumbing services in Orlando,” etc. And you can keep coming up with services or professionals people need and look for. Thus, you need to make sure you’re using Google to get the companies in front of their clients.
Users will always click on the first search results (those near the top), and many of them will be either Ad links (people paid to place their websites there), Map Listing, and then you get websites. Almost all of them are your goal and where you should always aim to place yourself.
Can My Chiropractor Business Utilize a Local Lead Generation Strategy?
If you want customers, you better know you need it. Following the previous explanation, lead gen is all about placing businesses in front of their customers, choosing them over their competitors.
Put it simply – it’s all about closing deals and having clients for those companies to make money. The main difference with the usual methods companies use for this is how lead generation approaches different channels to get them in the right place of the market to get customers.
Those channels are all focused on the Internet as most people are searching for products but also services across the net. The issue is that the Internet is way too broad, and businesses don’t know how to place themselves. They usually try, but they get one common result: losing money and time.
How Powerful Are Organic Chiropractor Leads from Google?
For companies looking for customers, it’s everything. For you? Pretty much the same. When you build a business with digital properties, you get to make thousands of dollars a month.
This isn’t a “get started today and get rich tomorrow” thing, but it is HIGHLY scalable, and ROI + positive results are guaranteed. Learning a fairly decent and very needed set of skills to create your digital properties and start ranking them on Google is required.
I have invested in several online businesses over the years, and if there’s something uncertain, whether you will get your ROI or not, even more than the actual profit.
However, this business moved my earnings from five figures a year to a month in ONLY passive income while sitting comfortably at home.
On my laptop. Anywhere. Anytime.
You can look at one of the first sites I built back in 2016, and it continues making me over $1.000+ every month. The best part is that I don’t need to touch it or the rest I’ve built over the years, just like this digital property.
What Makes Lead Generation SO Alluring?
Here it goes: you can work from home.
The main issue with regular business opportunities is how much you need to invest in staff, equipment, or rent to have a place to sell your products or offer your services.
We all know the hassles of traditional businesses that involve regular expenses, which are extremely high. Can you afford it? I don’t think so, and even if you can, is it worth it? Now, it isn’t only about the money. You also need to put in a lot of work, and it isn’t only during the first couple of months or years. Usually, it is as long as you continue running it.
You can save yourself those headaches and bone-breaking tasks and expenses with lead gen since it is more about generating leads with digital channels—mainly websites.
Websites can be VERY cheap to build, and with many tools online, you get to do it in a couple of hours instead of days. Any virtual or digital business is scalable and won’t need constant maintenance.
So, let’s summarize this:
- You save money in regular expenses with traditional and most online businesses as what you need is yourself and digital properties (websites).
- You can bet on passive income.
- There’s no need to hire more people to get started.
- You can generate leads in multiple industries, which allows you to work on any niche you want.
