Here’s the process of generating more credit repair leads that are qualified and will bring deals and income your way. Remember, individuals who don’t have a good or excellent credit score to apply for loans and mortgages from different lenders leads them to rely on unsafe and unsecured alternatives. Generating leads to help them through these processes is a win-win situation for both your potential client and your business.
A credit score is an all-time requirement to apply for over 80% of the loans available, and although some people who don’t have that much of a good one can get some credits when applying for them, it isn’t a secret it is quite difficult even if the amount is small.
Imagine those who have a very bad one but for more reasons than just the usual responsibilities or aspects that set them apart in the category, like having some records and information that aren’t that accurate or don’t really apply to the document.
This is why many try to repair their credit scores by hiring professionals who can solve their headaches and open more opportunities to acquire loans for different needs and projects.
However, companies or agents that dedicate themselves to this have an even harder time finding clients due to how competitive the industry is. If you are here, we are sure that’s because you are one of those.
Use SEO to Get More Credit Repair Leads
Each and every customer that you meet will be very knowledgeable about digital resources and how to find companies and experts they need online.
Thus, they will do extensive online research before they meet with you, and this means you must help them find you easily if you want those leads to come to your site and not choose another expert.
This is why you ought to keep something in mind: Your website is the heart of your marketing efforts and is, therefore, the most important tool to engage people.
No matter where or how the initial contact was made, most credit repair leads end up on your site.
How many leads you send to your pipeline will directly impact the number of business opportunities that you can close.
A solid Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategy is crucial to maximizing your site’s visits, and people won’t be able to find you unless you invest time in this.
How can you make SEO work for your business? It can be difficult, especially if you don’t have the expertise or are not a professional. Thus, here are some tips:
- You can add your location data to your Google My Business listing. This will allow your business to be shown in search results as well as on the local maps available, depending on where someone enters. This option will allow you to get leads clicking on your website as they can see you on the maps.
- If you code the reviews you’ve received, Google will recognize them. Google will be able to show your average rating and review count in your search results.
- No matter if you are serving one or many communities, ensure that your website is structured so that every search term returns a local result. Credit repair leads might search for “credit repair experts in ‘CITY NAME’ or ‘STATE.” When doing this, they should be directed to a page that shows your knowledge of the area and that you work there. You can include information about previous work to boost this search result.
Rely on Social Media for More Leads
You can reach large audiences through social networks as much as it may pain you to be part of the millions of people using them every day. After all, it can be overwhelming.
However, you should create your profiles and ensure you are connecting with your potential leads and future clients in the available platforms and spending most of the time.
Additionally, when you start implementing this strategy, keep in mind you must create valuable content for your users to promote your services. The content should be optimized for the specific social media you are using.
You could use tutorials, stories, or testimonials to promote your services. Many other posts and options come to the picture, but determining which one is the best can take some time, and getting used to focusing on them while being unique.
To make your life simpler and easier, we compiled a list with some factors to consider when promoting on each social media platform:
- Using Twitter.
Twitter is a popular way for brands to reach customers. The platform allows companies and individuals to establish conversations in real-time without worrying too much about long discussions.
Also, people tend to like Twitter more for short messages due to the limit of the characters to write, and the promo from companies don’t feel overwhelming.
For this to work, your Twitter bio should be credible so that users can trust it. Next, you can use the search function to find people discussing credit scores and start your conversations about giving them tips or anything that is useful for the audience.
- Clients and partners on LinkedIn.
Posting useful content can help you grow your network of partners as long as your profile is optimized as if you were writing your curriculum to apply for a job.
LinkedIn is a popular platform for professional networking and discussions in any type of business and industry. It helps to connect clients, businesses, agents, and anyone looking for services or jobs.
Thus, you should take the time to look at it and share case studies, infographics, and white papers valuable to this audience.
- Remember to use your website.
Your website should be professional and well-designed if you want it to generate more leads. Though this isn’t social media in specific, we found it important to add it briefly since you can use this channel to drive people to your other platforms.
Or, to begin with, you can take your social media leads to the website to convert them.
That being said, it should also be mobile-friendly and responsive. It is crucial to make a good first impression.
Potential customers may be turned off by a poorly designed website or a lack thereof. Also, you should add the following sections to add value:
- Using Instagram for promotion.
If you ask us what social media is used the most, Facebook remains at the top. However, most users spend more time each day on platforms like Instagram.
This is why you will find value in focusing on social media to bring in new clients and deals for your credit repair business or consulting services.
Start by opening a separate business account. Next, establish credibility by uploading videos explaining credit scores and how to repair them.
Of course, remember to focus on what YOU do to repair them.
You can share client results but not your private information. Credit tips and other information can be valuable as well, just like in the previous social media platforms.
Use all promotional features, such as hashtags, stories, and reels. You can find popular hashtags that are related to credit repair and use them in your posts.
Stories can be used as your behind-the-scenes camera to allow users to connect with you personally. Be creative!
- Set email campaigns.
Are you adamant that emails are ineffective and boring? It is ONLY when your strategy isn’t properly created and polished.
If you want email marketing to work, you need an emailing list and send useful messages with a call-to-action.
Some people may not be ready to purchase the service, and if you pressure them, they will just block you and avoid your advances.
Instead of doing that, engage them with relevant content. You may make a profit if they open your emails and click the links.
To make it easy for people to contact you, include your website address and telephone number in each email.
Next, to encourage people to sign up, you can send periodic newsletters. Also, be sure to check your emailing list for spammers as they could cause blacklisting.
- Yes, you can use Tik Tok.
This social media isn’t often used for industries or businesses in niches like this. Still, if you build a professional yet creative and entertaining profile, you can generate many credit repairs leads.
Besides, not only teenagers are using the platform.
You can create an educational channel that will allow you to share your work and tips with followers. Your bio and links should be in order so that users can request a consultation or get a free resource.
As we have mentioned several times, it is about being creative. If you play it smart, any media works just fine or incredibly well.
- YouTube is key.
If you want to reach millions easier, you have to rely on YouTube.
To get the best out of this platform, you just need to create your channel around credit repair services and start uploading some credit repair videos, which are more popular than you think.
Make high-quality, original content that solves problems and adds value. Keep it under 10 minutes, and people will love you.
Pay Per Phone Lead Generation Plan & Ads
Moving on with other methods to bring your credit repair leads, we want to let you know you shouldn’t be afraid of paying for ads or some leads.
The trick lies in knowing when it is convenient and how to do it properly. That being said, the following strategy is quite amazing for credit repair experts.
This option allows you to screen potential clients and then pass on those who are ready to capitalize on your services immediately.
For instance, if your company specializes in credit repair for credit card consumers, then customers only expressing a need for those services will be directed to your business in real-time.
This reduces the time required to cold-call potential clients and improves your closing ratio.
Start Blogging for Your Audience
If there’s something you should know is that SEO (search engine optimization) goes beyond ranking your website’s homepage and core service pages to generate more leads.
In case you didn’t know, this is a very common and necessary strategy to generate organic traffic, and free credit repair leads so that you will be reading and hearing a lot about SEO.
However, our main focus here is one part of it: How it also covers your blog articles, information pages, and other web pages. Why? Because you optimize your site with good content that is with the right keywords to appear in search engines.
But for a blog to work properly, you need to create useful content but not repetitive constantly. If it isn’t, then you will be wasting your time.
Why is blogging so valuable, though? Because when clients are looking for services, they always go to Google to find some tips along with a professional who can help.
With the simple yet crucial questions answered, what are you able to write about in your blogs?
Answering legal questions is a great way for you to be trusted and build a bigger audience for your business. This will allow you to build brand awareness and top-of-mind advertising because people will notice you know what you are doing.
Start by making a list of frequently asked questions and then begin to write. Start with the FAQs section and then move to specific ones relevant to credit repair and credit score.
Become an Authority
It is not difficult to be an authority in the areas that involve credits, loans, and some law procedures. It just takes time and effort.
The idea behind this is to be part of the group that people consider when thinking about repairing their credits. Thus, depending on the ripple effects that you desire, authority building can take many forms to achieve the previous option but with variations in the outcome.
But how does this benefit you besides generating new leads? This will allow you to keep in touch with your past clients, friends, as well as other professionals in your local area that can add some extra value in the future as referrals.
To help you build your authority, we have made sure to offer some tips you should consider following:
- Build trust with the previous blogging option (another reason to implement it).
- Make sure to participate in some local events to show your face.
- Always include clients’ testimonies and show your results.
Ask any credit repair professional or company to estimate how much they spend on marketing strategies and ads. We are confident most of them will answer that about 1-2% of their revenues.
The issue with marketing strategies and ads lies in how profitable they are in terms of generating the expected results and helping you get clients.
Now, what if we tell you there’s a better way to invest your money in order to get the leads?
It is as simple as paying the price per lead but doing it smartly, so you don’t waste your income and resources. This option is more profitable than investing in ads on every platform and can help you save money.
We don’t doubt that PPC is worthwhile if done correctly. However, if you have trouble with it, you can rely on this strategy or combine them to save time and effort.
There are some things you need to know about how to pay for leads.
First, people who are interested in hiring an attorney for credit repair cases will give you their contact information. This happens without any marketing or legwork, so you shouldn’t pay that much for leads that are about to be converted.
However, when you know there’s someone who has the same needs, yet they are going to another expert, you get the chance to pay for this lead, so it falls into your sales funnel.
This saves you a lot of time and effort. You don’t have to choose one randomly and decide if it is worth your time.
What we must add, whatsoever, is that leads can cost about $100 each, and you need to determine if this is worth your money in terms of final revenue for your business.
Now, after you have purchased contact information from those leads, it is possible to reach out to the lead and see if you are a match. This lead strategy comes with some drawbacks.
Multiple credit repair experts may be receiving the same leads. This results in a race to see who can get the lead first, based on the service offered and the conditions. Thus:
- It is not possible to guarantee that your money will be returned after investing in the lead.
- To acquire a client, you could charge $1.000 if you offer a 10% conversion rate to avoid other issues or competitors.
These PPL services are available on nearly every credit repair site focused on generating leads (it only takes a Google search).
Do you have questions about whether this strategy is right for your company?
We recommend that you give PPC a chance before considering any other options like this. Then, evaluate the alternatives. We want to let you know that PPC is an excellent strategy, depending on your budget and whether it proves to be suitable for you in the long term.
Bring More Leads with Referrals
Referrals are when someone recommends your credit repair firm or business to a friend or family member.
Statistics show that six out of 10 people who are looking for a professional like you will get recommendations and feedback from their closest friends and hire you thanks to how much they trust them.
This means you have to provide exceptional service every time you want those referrals to play a crucial role in your business.
Also, it’s crucial to keep in touch with clients from the past to encourage them to refer friends.
Let’s talk about how we can help you with a few tips in this endeavor:
- Try to make people sign up for your monthly newsletters, updates, and other information from the community with their email addresses.
- Holiday gifts are a wonderful way to show gratitude to clients who have contributed the most to your success and encourage them to recommend you.
- Send holiday greetings to your clients. Recognize significant life events.
- Maintain your relationships with any contact and free content you can offer your clients.
- After a professional relationship is ended, clients should not forget their names.
Focus on Partnerships
Imagine meeting with potential leads to discover that another professional or contractor in the industry is more suitable for their needs, or maybe they weren’t looking for your services, to begin with.
This situation doesn’t have to mean a loss for you. Instead, it is a big opportunity.
First, it’s better to let a qualified attorney handle a client than lose trust from people by trying to do something you aren’t capable of handling.
In this way, you can bet on the partnership option we want to introduce you to.
Partner attorneys can make a great referral network that will help you take and send leads based on the clients who arrive at your businesses. If they have someone who needs a credit repair expert, they will send the leads your way and vice versa, depending on the business they have and your help within the exchange.
This strategy is also known as attorney networking. It involves building relationships with other local professionals in other niches that are still related to yours.
For this to work out, these are some important things to keep in mind:
- It is not acceptable to give clients’ contact information to other professionals or businesses without first obtaining consent from both parties.
- You should build relationships with top businesses that will send you leads.
- Only send leads that you believe are worth your time and that your partner attorney is willing to take.
This partnership is about a mutual relationship. More than 30% of people will be referred to you by another professional. Thus, it is a great source of leads.
The Local Lead Generation Process for Your Credit Repair Business
All right! So, everything is about building properties and generating leads. But how does the process actually take place? Are there other steps I need to know?
The steps I mention below are what students from our local lead generation program follow to generate leads for businesses like yourself. So I’ll help you see what we do. And how if you join our program, you can simply generate leads for your own business (unless you want to start a side hustle and build a laptop lifestyle business).
Essentially, our lead generation can be divided into four steps:
The first is prospecting. You need to take the time to do market research on a niche (industry) and determine how many phone-driven businesses are there.
Keep in mind that this is local research as you need to know how many companies need leads. For example, you may search for “plumbing services Youngstown OH.”
You will find dozens or even hundreds of businesses trying to get themselves in front of the customers by ranking on Map Listings, organic results, and even Ad.
The second step, building. When you find a niche (plumbing, tree services, a software company, real estate…), you will need to start building your digital properties. You don’t need to be an expert in HTML or coding. It can be easy with the right tools.
The third step is now taking time to rank your lead gen website. With the site done, you need to work on SEO strategies and start dominating those Google search results. If you’re new to SEO, it stands for Search Engine Optimization.
To keep it simple, it consists of the entire process of growing a company’s visibility on search engines like Google and generating organic traffic. And remember this, local lead generation is part of the strategies.
Moving on to step four, once you rank the site, you will start getting your ROI and profits. You only need to rent it out to a local business interested in the leads the site generates. You can offer a couple of free leads to their move on with the actual pay per lead.
To review steps 1-4 above, I described it to a normal student who is building a lead gen business to help local service providers generate more calls. But replace the student with you as the business owner. And replace sending the leads to a business to simply siphoning the leads to your personal business.
By the way, fun fact, about 20% of our students in our local lead gen program are actually business owners who went through the program. And they use the skillsets we teach to generate leads for their own business.
An Example of Lead Generation: Home Advisor
You must be thinking, “if lead generation sounds so good so far, how come I haven’t seen any company?” That’s the thing; there are many out there. You just don’t know they are dedicated to it.
HomeAdvisor is one of the best examples you can find on the Internet as it is a top lead generation company that has spent millions building its brand but also earned even more zeros for this same reason.
They started small as everyone else but invested in building their brand awareness to make people who are looking for home services go to their website and find what they need. They are over 75% of people’s first choice when they need those services.
If you don’t get HomeAdvisor that much or need a refresh, users need to submit their information to request a service and get a professional or expert who can provide it.
HomeAdvisor’s job is to share your information, which makes you a lead, with local companies so they can contact you and offer the service you’re requesting. For sharing this lead information, HomeAdvisor gets paid by the companies. This happens for every single lead they send to multiple businesses.
Business owners who don’t have marketing skills or don’t even know how to have any online presence will always rely on those pages to list their services. They will save time and effort, but companies like HomeAdvisor can make them spend lots of money as leads aren’t exclusive (one lead is sent to multiple companies after all).
Using Facebook Ads aka Paid Ad Platforms: Do They Generate Leads?
They DO generate leads. If not, no one would use them.
However, you need to remember two facts:
- Paid ads or platforms can be expensive.
- They don’t generate “natural” leads.
Whenever someone sees or clicks in one of those ads, over 80% of them did it by accident or are trying to close/report it.
Why? Because they aren’t looking for those services. At least not at the moment.
What those ads do instead is interrupt their time on the platforms. Users aren’t there to find companies or businesses unless they are searching for a specific company’s user, and for that, there’s a search bar. This is why it is hard to convert them to actual customers who will show interest in the companies’ services. Also, you’re limited by a budget.
When using lead generation, everything is organic. You aren’t forcing others to pay attention to your business but rather being there when they need you. This is why Google’s organic traffic will always beat paid ads, and the reason companies continue investing in it, which is a lot cheaper as well.
What Is Local SEO?
Don’t worry… I didn’t get it at first either. Following the short explanation, local SEO focuses on scaling businesses’ visibility on search engines. However, this is only for those who serve their communities face-to-face.
What does this mean?
Experts and professionals like painters, plumbers, and dentists (but not only them) offer their services to their local customers. Why? Because they can’t deliver them unless they are located in the same area of their customers.
To make sure those businesses get more leads, you need to rank them locally by claiming the business listing on Google to place them on Map Listings. Local SEO also involves online reviews, citation management, and how you manage your entire online presence in the local area.
If you are going to bet on lead gen, you need to adapt yourself to today’s world: The Internet.
Keep in mind that although traditional channels and methods like billboards, warm calls, and pamphlets still work, they aren’t part of your tools. Whenever someone needs a service, they go to Google and search for it.
“Dentist in Miami” or “plumbing services in Orlando,” etc. And you can keep coming up with services or professionals people need and look for. Thus, you need to make sure you’re using Google to get the companies in front of their clients.
Users will always click on the first search results (those near the top), and many of them will be either Ad links (people paid to place their websites there), Map Listing, and then you get websites. Almost all of them are your goal and where you should always aim to place yourself.
Can My Credit Repair Business Utilize a Local Lead Generation Strategy?
If you want customers, you better know you need it. Following the previous explanation, lead gen is all about placing businesses in front of their customers, choosing them over their competitors.
Put it simply – it’s all about closing deals and having clients for those companies to make money. The main difference with the usual methods companies use for this is how lead generation approaches different channels to get them in the right place of the market to get customers.
Those channels are all focused on the Internet as most people are searching for products but also services across the net. The issue is that the Internet is way too broad, and businesses don’t know how to place themselves. They usually try, but they get one common result: losing money and time.
How Powerful Are Organic Credit Repair Leads from Google?
For companies looking for customers, it’s everything. For you? Pretty much the same. When you build a business with digital properties, you get to make thousands of dollars a month.
This isn’t a “get started today and get rich tomorrow” thing, but it is HIGHLY scalable, and ROI + positive results are guaranteed. Learning a fairly decent and very needed set of skills to create your digital properties and start ranking them on Google is required.
I have invested in several online businesses over the years, and if there’s something uncertain, whether you will get your ROI or not, even more than the actual profit.
However, this business moved my earnings from five figures a year to a month in ONLY passive income while sitting comfortably at home.
On my laptop. Anywhere. Anytime.
You can look at one of the first sites I built back in 2016, and it continues making me over $1.000+ every month. The best part is that I don’t need to touch it or the rest I’ve built over the years, just like this digital property.
What Makes Lead Generation SO Alluring?
Here it goes: you can work from home.
The main issue with regular business opportunities is how much you need to invest in staff, equipment, or rent to have a place to sell your products or offer your services.
We all know the hassles of traditional businesses that involve regular expenses, which are extremely high. Can you afford it? I don’t think so, and even if you can, is it worth it? Now, it isn’t only about the money. You also need to put in a lot of work, and it isn’t only during the first couple of months or years. Usually, it is as long as you continue running it.
You can save yourself those headaches and bone-breaking tasks and expenses with lead gen since it is more about generating leads with digital channels—mainly websites.
Websites can be VERY cheap to build, and with many tools online, you get to do it in a couple of hours instead of days. Any virtual or digital business is scalable and won’t need constant maintenance.
So, let’s summarize this:
- You save money in regular expenses with traditional and most online businesses as what you need is yourself and digital properties (websites).
- You can bet on passive income.
- There’s no need to hire more people to get started.
- You can generate leads in multiple industries, which allows you to work on any niche you want.
