I spent four years in Division I athletics and another five as a competitive powerlifter. I’ve worked with everyone from total beginners who haven’t exercised since high school to professional athletes preparing for competition. The thread that connects all of it: the gap between working hard and training smart is enormous.

I opened APEX in 2016 because Denver deserved a training facility that treated members like athletes — regardless of their current level. Every program we build is designed around measurable outcomes, progressive overload, and the sustainable habits that actually make results stick past the first 90 days.

My philosophy is simple: earn the result with a system, not just with sweat. If you’re doing the work and not seeing progress, the problem isn’t effort — it’s the program.
